Jim Mumford, owner of Good Earth Plants undertook planting the first commercial green roof in San Diego in the Spring of 2007 without a permit.
Mr. Mumford has hired Robert Thiele, Architect to now get a building permit in the Spring of 2008 after a Code Enforcement Citation.
There were no building codes for green roofs in California at the time. We will pursue an Alternate Means and Methods Process.
